Arusha to the wildnerness of serengeti National Park

Your safari begins in Arusha after an early breakfast, where your professional driver-guide takes you on a scenic 5–7 hour journey toward the world-famous Serengeti.

As you leave the highlands behind, the landscape transforms into vast open savannahs and endless golden plains dotted with acacia trees. This drive offers a beautiful introduction to Tanzania’s natural scenery and wildlife environment.
You arrive in the central Serengeti, specifically the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife regions in the park.
This is your first opportunity to explore the Serengeti up close, with chances to see predators, grazing herds, and diverse birdlife in action.

As the sun sets over the plains, return to Golden Safari Camps in the Seronera area for dinner and overnight stay. Relax in the comfort of your camp while listening to the sounds of the African wilderness.

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

After an early breakfast, you will descend over 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife.
Supported by a year-round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeests, zebras, buffalos, elands, warthogs, hippos, and giant African elephants.

Another big draw card to this picturesque national park is its dense population of predators, which includes lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the ever-elusive leopards, which sometimes require a trained eye to spot.
You will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. A large number of flamingos, hippos and other water birds can usually be seen here.

Afterwards, you will proceed to Arusha which you will be spending the night at The charity Hotel while waiting for the next day adventure.

To the Foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro

After breakfast, you will be driven to Materuni Village for a visit to the beautiful Materuni Waterfalls. This short hike to the waterfalls offers an opportunity to explore the natural surroundings on foot.

The views are truly breathtaking, and with some luck, you will see the summit of Kilimanjaro. When you reach the waterfalls, you will see that they are more than 80 meters high.
After having enjoyed the scenery, you'll slowly return with your guide to Materuni village, where you will experience a traditional Chagga lunch. You also will have the opportunity to taste our local banana beer – not to be missed!
