Your adventure begins today! After breakfast, the guide will pick you up from the hotel and drive you to Tarangire National Park. During the 2-hour road transfer, you'll enjoy scenic views of the plain grassland, spotting traditional Maasai houses and cattle being herded. Upon arrival, you will check in and depart on a game drive and enjoy what the park offers.

Tarangire is famous for its significant concentration of elephants and ancient baobab trees that spread across the park. You will likely encounter a variety of animals, including lions, leopards, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, cheetahs, tree-climbing pythons, and many birds.

In the afternoon, you'll pause for a picnic lunch before exploring until evening. After the game drive, you will retreat to your accommodation to relax, have dinner, and stay overnight.

Into the Heart of Love

Today you journey into the heart of Tanzania’s most iconic wilderness: the Serengeti. The drive across the Ngorongoro highlands and down into the endless plains is a breathtaking introduction to this World Heritage site. Golden grasslands stretch to the horizon, dotted with rocky outcrops known as kopjes where lions often bask.

Arrive at your luxury tented camp in time for lunch and a short rest. In the afternoon, set out for your first Serengeti game drive. Depending on the season you may witness the dramatic Great Migration of wildebeest and zebras, or observe resident wildlife such as cheetahs scanning the horizon, elephants ambling through the savannah and hyenas calling as dusk approaches.

Back at camp, enjoy the soft glow of lanterns and the gentle crackle of a campfire. A private dinner beneath the wide Serengeti sky creates an unforgettable evening of romance.

Endless Horizons of Romance

Wake to the soft light of dawn and the distant roar of lions. After a leisurely breakfast or perhaps an optional early-morning hot air balloon flight, you’ll spend the entire day exploring different habitats of the Serengeti. The central plains, dotted with acacias and granite kopjes, host large prides of lions and provide ideal hunting grounds for cheetahs.

Your guide will tailor the day to maximize sightings, you might track a leopard lounging on a tree branch, watch hippos wallow in a tranquil pool, or simply pause to soak in the vast, untouched scenery. A picnic lunch served in a shaded spot allows you to remain immersed in the wilderness.

Return to camp in the late afternoon to relax with sundowners as the sky turns crimson. Another private, candlelit dinner rounds off this day of adventure and intimacy.

A Crater of Timeless Beauty

Today you descend into the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater, often referred to as the “Eighth Wonder of the World.” The crater is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and a sanctuary for an extraordinary concentration of wildlife.

As you travel across the crater floor, you will encounter rich grasslands, acacia forests, freshwater swamps, and the shimmering Lake Magadi.

The area is home to the highest density of predators in Africa, giving you excellent chances to spot lions, hyenas, jackals, and possibly the elusive leopard. Large herds of wildebeest, buffalo, zebras, and gazelles roam freely, while the rare black rhino may be seen grazing in the open plains. You’ll enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic spot before continuing your game drive in the afternoon.

Later, you ascend the crater rim and head to your lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight.

A Serene Farewell

After breakfast, you drive to Lake Manyara National Park, a lush and picturesque park famous for its diverse habitats and abundant wildlife. The park is well known for its tree-climbing lions, large troops of baboons, and graceful giraffes wandering between the acacia woodlands.

As you explore, you will enjoy views of the Great Rift Valley escarpment rising dramatically above the lake. Birdlife is exceptional over 400 species have been recorded making this a paradise for bird lovers. Flocks of flamingos often color the lake’s shallow edges pink, while hippos wallow in the hippo pools.

After a final game drive, you exit the park and continue to Arusha (or the airport) for your onward journey, marking the end of your memorable 5-day safari adventure.
