Today you will transfer from the Masai Mara to Serengeti National Park via the Isebania border, a full-day journey that combines travel with exceptional wildlife viewing. After clearing the border, the afternoon continues with a scenic game drive through the Serengeti, where endless plains, big cats, and migrating wildebeest welcome you into Tanzania’s most celebrated park. Covering 18,000 sq km, the park hosts more than two million large animals, including wildebeest, zebras and Thomson’s gazelles, along with lions, cheetahs, hyenas, monkeys and nearly 500 bird species. On your second day, enjoy a full day of exploration with morning and afternoon game drives. The Serengeti also offers incredible activities such as guided nature walks, cultural visits to nearby Maasai communities, and exploring the historic Olduvai Gorge.

Begin your day with an early morning safari, the best time to spot active wildlife and witness a breathtaking sunrise over the Serengeti. After this rewarding game drive, return to camp for brunch before departing for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. With 2,000-foot-high walls and a 102-square-mile floor, the Ngorongoro Crater is often called a natural Noah’s Ark, hosting nearly every species found in East Africa, including the endangered black rhino. The crater features rivers, swamps shimmering like steam from above, flamingo-filled lakes, woodlands and vast open plains. Its large bull elephants are known for their impressive tusks, nourished by the mineral-rich volcanic soil. In the afternoon, you may enjoy an optional walking safari in the Ngorongoro Highlands for a closer connection with nature.

Day 9

Start your day with an early descent into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the most extraordinary wildlife habitats on Earth. Spend the morning exploring its diverse landscapes, home to elephants, lions, black rhinos, hippos and countless grazing animals. Around midday, enjoy a picnic lunch beside the scenic hippo lake before continuing with afternoon wildlife viewing. Later, ascend the steep crater walls and transfer to Manyara for your overnight stay. Guests may also choose to visit Tarangire instead of Manyara, especially recommended between June and September for its large elephant herds and rich wildlife concentrations.
On the way, you may stop at Oldonyo Sambu Maasai Village for a cultural experience and insight into traditional Maasai life.

Depart after breakfast and drive across the Great Rift Valley to Lake Manyara National Park for a full-day game drive. This scenic park is known for its lush acacia woodlands filled with giant figs and mahogany trees, home to large troops of baboons and playful blue monkeys. Lake Manyara is also famous for its rich birdlife, including thousands of flamingos along the shoreline. The park hosts buffaloes, giraffes, elephants, impalas and a hippo-filled lake. It is one of the few places where you may spot tree-climbing lions resting on branches. Game drives follow the lake’s edge, offering breathtaking views of wildlife framed by shimmering waters and vast plains. In the afternoon, transfer to Arusha.
Additional activities include a guided bicycle tour or an exciting night game drive.
Alternatively, you may continue to Amboseli for a 2-night safari and end the tour in Nairobi.
