4-Day Wildlife Journey Through Masai Mara

Arrival and transfer to Masai Mara NP

Your safari begins on Day 1 with a morning pick-up from Nairobi followed by a scenic drive through the Great Rift Valley, offering breath taking views and photo stops along the way. You arrive at your lodge or camp in time for lunch, settle in, and later head out for an exciting afternoon game drive where you begin spotting the Mara’s incredible wildlife. You will return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Full day game drive at Masai Mara

Day 2 is dedicated to a full-day exploration of the Masai Mara. After an early breakfast, you venture deep into the reserve with packed lunches, spending the day discovering prime wildlife areas including the Mara River and vast savannah plains. This day offers excellent chances of seeing the Big Five, large cat sightings, and dramatic wildlife interactions before returning to your camp in the evening. Later in the evening you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Extended game drive at Masai Mara

On Day 3, you start with an optional sunrise game drive, the ideal time for spotting predators as they conclude their night hunts. After breakfast, you can relax at the lodge or choose an optional visit to a Maasai cultural village for an authentic community experience. Later in the afternoon, you may enjoy another game drive or downtime at the camp depending on your preference. In the evening you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Farewell to the Mara wildlife

Your adventure concludes on Day 4, a perfect farewell to the Mara’s wildlife. After breakfast, you check out at the lodge. You will have an optional Maasai village visit to explore the culture of community surrounding the Masai Mara NP. Thereafter begin your journey back to Nairobi, arriving in the afternoon for drop-off at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
