After an early morning pickup, you will set out for Lake Nakuru National Park, Located along the equator to the south of Lake Bogoria, this park sits within the Great Rift Valley. Lake Nakuru is world famous for its vast flocks of flamingos and is often regarded as one of nature’s most remarkable sights.
The park also serves as a protected rhino sanctuary, home to a significant number of both black and white rhinos. While the wildlife is diverse, the flamingos remain the highlight, sometimes gathering in numbers that reach into the millions, creating a striking pink ring along the lakeshore.
You will arrive in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive. In the evening, you will have dinner and spend the night at either a campsite or a lodge, depending on your preference.

Begin your day with a scenic drive to the Masai Mara National Reserve. The Mara is one of the last remaining regions in Africa where wildlife thrives in large, naturally roaming herds much like in the past. As the northern extension of the greater Serengeti ecosystem, it is famous for the Great Migration, when countless wildebeest, zebras, and the predators that follow them move through the plains.
You will reach the reserve in time for lunch, and later head out for an afternoon game drive to explore its rich wildlife.

Day 3-4

After breakfast, you will spend the entire day exploring the Masai Mara on a game drive, with a picnic lunch enjoyed out in the wilderness. The reserve is renowned for its black-maned lions and its remarkably rich wildlife population. It is also one of the few places where spotting the Big Five in a single morning is possible. Cheetahs in the Mara are famously relaxed around vehicles some even rest in their shade, while others may climb onto the roof for a better vantage point.
Bird lovers will also be delighted, as the reserve boasts nearly 500 recorded species. These include 16 types of eagles, numerous hawks and falcons, six vulture species, eight species of storks, four types of bustards (including the impressive Kori bustard the heaviest flying bird in the world), and nine varieties of sunbirds.

Day 5

Today’s journey takes you from the Masai Mara into Serengeti National Park through the Isebania border. The transfer covers most of the day, but much of the route doubles as a game-viewing drive, giving you plenty of opportunities to spot wildlife along the way.
In the afternoon, you will continue with a game drive enroute to your tented camp, and if you wish, you can also enjoy an evening game drive once you arrive.

Day 6-7

As you reach the top of the hillside, the Serengeti unfolds before you—an endless expanse that truly lives up to its Kiswahili name, meaning “the endless plains.” Covering about 6,900 square miles (18,000 sq. km), the park is home to over two million large mammals. This includes more than a million wildebeest, vast numbers of zebras and Thomson’s gazelles, and numerous predators such as lions, cheetahs, and hyenas, all supported by the constant movement of migrating herds. The ecosystem also supports a variety of smaller creatures i.e rock hyraxes, bat-eared foxes, mongooses, honey badgers, jackals, monkeys, baboons, and African hares along with almost 500 species of birds.
Your second day in the Serengeti will be spent on morning and afternoon game drives, giving you more time to explore this iconic landscape.
You can also choose to enhance your experience with optional activities like a visit to Olduvai Gorge or a hot air balloon safari.

You’ll begin the day very early, heading out for a pre-breakfast game drive. Early mornings are one of the best times to see wildlife, as many animals are most active at dawn. You’ll also get to enjoy a breathtaking sunrise over the African savannah, an unforgettable sight. After the drive, you’ll return to camp for brunch.
Later in the day, you will travel to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, often referred to as the eighth wonder of the world. With crater walls rising about 2,000 feet and a floor stretching across 102 square miles, Ngorongoro acts like a natural sanctuary, supporting almost every major wildlife species found in East Africa, including the endangered black rhino. The crater holds one of the densest concentrations of animals anywhere on Earth. The large bull elephants here are known for their impressive tusks, thanks to the mineral-rich volcanic soil and grasses.

Day 9

Your day begins early with a descent into the Ngorongoro Crater, where you’ll enjoy an unforgettable morning of wildlife viewing in one of the most breathtaking natural settings on the planet. After exploring the crater floor, you’ll stop for a picnic lunch beside the scenic Hippo Lake.
Following lunch, you’ll have time for a short additional game drive before climbing back up the crater walls and leaving the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, continuing onward to Lake Manyara.
If you prefer, you can choose to visit Tarangire National Park instead this option is especially recommended between June and September.

Day 10

After breakfast, you will set out toward Lake Manyara National Park, crossing the dramatic landscape of the Great Rift Valley. You’ll spend the day on a full-day game drive inside this beautiful and lush park, known for its dense acacia woodlands filled with giant figs and mahogany trees. These forests are home to large troops of baboons and playful blue monkeys.
Lake Manyara is also celebrated for its remarkable birdlife, as well as healthy populations of buffalo, giraffes, elephants, impalas, and hippos, which gather in large numbers around the famous Hippo Lake. The park is also known for its tree-climbing lions and the flocks of flamingos that line the lakeshore. Game drives follow routes along the water’s edge, offering incredible scenery with wildlife in front of sweeping views of the lake and distant plains.
In the afternoon, you will travel onward to Nairobi.
Alternatively, you may choose to end your tour in Arusha instead.
