Your adventure begins with an early morning pickup from Nairobi followed by a scenic drive north, passing the lush farmlands of Karatina and crossing the equator at Nanyuki. Arrive in Samburu National Reserve in time for lunch and a short rest.
In the afternoon, enjoy your first game drive in this beautiful semi-arid reserve known for its rugged beauty and rich wildlife. Samburu is famous for its unique northern species – the “Samburu Special Five”: the Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, reticulated giraffe, beisa oryx, and gerenuk. You may also spot elephants, lions, leopards, and abundant birdlife along the Ewaso Nyiro River.

Depart after breakfast and drive south toward the foothills of Mt. Kenya to the award-winning Ol Pejeta Conservancy. Arrive for lunch followed by an afternoon game drive.
Ol Pejeta offers a rewarding mix of wildlife and conservation activities. It hosts the largest black rhino population in East Africa and is home to the last two northern white rhinos. After breakfast, depart via Nyahururu with a brief stop at Thompson Falls (optional) before descending into the Rift Valley. Arrive at Lake Nakuru National Park in time for lunch.
Later, head out for an afternoon game drive in this compact but wildlife-rich park renowned for its rhino sanctuary and diverse birdlife. Expect sightings of both black and white rhinos, lions (often seen resting on trees), Rothschild’s giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, and various antelope species. The lake attracts large flocks of pelicans, flamingos (seasonal), and other water birds, making Nakuru one of Kenya’s iconic birding destinations.

Enjoy a relaxed breakfast before departing toward Lake Naivasha. On arrival, take a guided walking safari on Crescent Island, one of the few places in Kenya where you can walk among wildlife. Expect close-up encounters with giraffes, zebras, waterbucks, impalas, and abundant bird species—all in a peaceful lakeside setting.
After the experience, enjoy lunch in Naivasha (optional) before driving back to Nairobi, arriving in the late afternoon.
