Arusha to Ndutu Area

Early morning you will be picked up by your professional safari guide at your accommodation or Arusha Airport, there after depart Arusha in the morning and begin your journey toward the Ndutu region within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. As you travel through the scenic highlands, the landscapes gradually open into the vast, wildlife-rich plains surrounding Ndutu. This area is renowned for its exceptional sightings, especially during the calving season when thousands of wildebeest and zebras gather. Upon arrival, enjoy an afternoon game drive, exploring woodlands, open grasslands, and lakeshores teeming with predators and grazing animals.

In the early evening, you arrive at Sero Tented Camp, your comfortable base in Ndutu. Settle into your spacious tent and relax with warm hospitality and beautiful views of the surrounding wilderness. Enjoy a delicious dinner and unwind to the natural sounds of the bush as night falls.

Full Day Game Drive Ndutu Area

Spend the entire day exploring the Ndutu region, one of the most rewarding wildlife areas in Tanzania. Your morning game drive offers the perfect chance to witness predators such as lions, cheetahs, and hyenas taking advantage of the abundant prey found here. Depending on the season, you may encounter massive herds of the Great Migration or view newborn calves and their protective mothers a spectacular and unforgettable wildlife experience.

After a picnic lunch in a scenic open area, continue your afternoon exploration at a relaxed pace, visiting the marshlands, woodlands, and lakes that attract a wide variety of animals and birdlife. By late afternoon, return to Sero Tented Camp to enjoy dinner and a peaceful evening surrounded by the tranquility of the Ndutu wilderness.

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

After breakfast, depart Ndutu and travel toward the Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most remarkable natural wonders. Descend into the crater for a half-day game drive, where lush grasslands and permanent water sources support an incredible concentration of wildlife. Look out for lions, elephants, buffalo, hippos, and with a bit of luck the rare black rhino.

Following your game drive, enjoy a picnic lunch near a hippo pool before ascending the crater wall and beginning your return journey to Arusha. Arrive in the late afternoon, marking the end of your memorable 3-day safari filled with diverse landscapes and exceptional wildlife encounters. You will be dropped off at your accommodation or Arusha Airport depending with your preference.
