Day 2

After an early breakfast at 07:30 AM, you depart Arusha and begin a scenic drive toward Tarangire National Park, a journey of about two hours through rolling plains and rural landscapes. As you approach, the scenery opens into classic African savannah, dotted with towering baobab trees and vast grasslands.

By mid-morning, you arrive in Tarangire and set out on your first immersive game drive, exploring a park renowned for its large elephant herds and rich biodiversity. Expect memorable wildlife encounters, including elephants in family groups, graceful giraffes, lions resting in the shade, zebras roaming the plains, and a remarkable variety of birdlife along the Tarangire River.

At around 01:30 PM, enjoy a relaxed picnic lunch inside the park, surrounded by nature and the sounds of the wild. After lunch, continue with an afternoon game drive before returning in the late afternoon to your lodge or camp for a peaceful evening and overnight stay.

On Day 3, after breakfast at 07:00 AM, you depart for the Northern Serengeti, a scenic 4–5 hour drive through breathtaking landscapes that gradually open into vast, untouched plains.

The Northern Serengeti is renowned for its rich wildlife and, seasonally, the dramatic Mara River crossings of the Great Migration. Between July and October, this region offers one of the best chances to witness wildebeest and zebras crossing the river in one of nature’s most powerful spectacles.

At around 01:00 PM, arrive in the Northern Serengeti and enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated area within the park. After lunch, continue with an extended game drive, exploring migration routes and wildlife hotspots, with opportunities to see predators, elephants, and a wide variety of grazing herbivores, making this an unforgettable safari experience.

After breakfast at 07:30 AM, you depart the Northern Serengeti and travel toward the Central Serengeti, a scenic drive of about three hours across endless savannah plains. As you head south, the landscape becomes increasingly rich in wildlife, welcoming you to the heart of the Serengeti ecosystem.

The Central Serengeti is famous for its high concentration of animals and is one of the best areas for predator sightings. Lions are commonly seen resting on rocky outcrops, leopards hide among acacia trees, and cheetahs patrol the open plains. This region also hosts giraffes, wildebeest, and many other species year-round.

At around 12:30 PM, begin your game drive, exploring wildlife hotspots throughout the area. At 01:30 PM, enjoy a picnic lunch surrounded by sweeping views of the Serengeti plains, before continuing with an afternoon game drive through the park’s diverse and wildlife-rich landscapes.

After breakfast at 07:30 AM, depart for the Ngorongoro Crater, a scenic three-hour drive through northern Tanzania’s highlands. This UNESCO World Heritage Site, often called the “Garden of Eden”, is famed for its stunning landscapes and abundant wildlife.

Upon arrival, descend to the crater floor, a unique ecosystem home to the Big Five—elephants, buffaloes, rhinos, lions, and leopards—along with many other animals. Explore lush plains, soda lakes, and swamps, where flamingos often gather, making the scenery even more remarkable.

Around 03:30 PM, conclude your game drive and begin the return to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon. You’ll be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward departure, concluding your unforgettable safari adventure.
