After breakfast, you’ll depart for the Ndutu region, located in the southern Serengeti ecosystem. The drive takes you through scenic highlands and open plains, with wildlife sightings possible along the way.

Arriving in Ndutu, you’ll begin exploring this remarkable area—the heart of the Great Migration and the prime location for wildebeest calving between December and March. During this season, over a hundred thousand newborn wildebeest appear on the short-grass plains, attracting predators such as cheetahs, lions, and hyenas, making it one of the most dramatic wildlife events in Africa.

Spend the afternoon on a game drive, taking in the vast landscapes and abundant wildlife before heading to your camp for dinner and an overnight stay in the middle of the migration zone.

Today is dedicated to exploring Ndutu in depth. With a full day of game drives, you’ll follow the movements of the Great Migration across the open plains, where thousands of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles gather during the calving season.

This is one of the best places in Africa to witness wildebeest calving, predator action, and large herds spread across the short-grass plains. Your guide will take you to the most active wildlife areas, offering excellent opportunities for photography and close-up encounters.

Enjoy a packed lunch in the bush and continue your game drive into the afternoon before returning to your camp for dinner and another night in the heart of the migration.
