Your adventure begins with a morning flight from Zanzibar to Arusha, where your safari guide will meet you upon arrival. After a short briefing, you’ll depart for Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds, towering baobab trees, and rich wildlife.

Enjoy a full afternoon game drive as you explore the park’s diverse landscapes and spot animals such as lions, giraffes, buffalo, zebras, and a wide variety of birdlife. Tarangire’s river draws wildlife year-round, making it an excellent introduction to Tanzania’s safari experience.

As evening approaches, you’ll head to your lodge or camp for dinner and relaxation, surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.

Game drive in Serengeti - Ndutu

After breakfast, you’ll depart for the Ndutu region, located in the southern Serengeti ecosystem. The drive takes you through scenic highlands and open plains, with wildlife sightings possible along the way.

Arriving in Ndutu, you’ll begin exploring this remarkable area—the heart of the Great Migration and the prime location for wildebeest calving between December and March. During this season, over a hundred thousand newborn wildebeest appear on the short-grass plains, attracting predators such as cheetahs, lions, and hyenas, making it one of the most dramatic wildlife events in Africa.

Spend the afternoon on a game drive, taking in the vast landscapes and abundant wildlife before heading to your camp for dinner and an overnight stay in the middle of the migration zone.

Full day Game drive in Serengeti - Ndutu

Today is dedicated to exploring Ndutu in depth. With a full day of game drives, you’ll follow the movements of the Great Migration across the open plains, where thousands of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles gather during the calving season.

This is one of the best places in Africa to witness wildebeest calving, predator action, and large herds spread across the short-grass plains. Your guide will take you to the most active wildlife areas, offering excellent opportunities for photography and close-up encounters.

Enjoy a packed lunch in the bush and continue your game drive into the afternoon before returning to your camp for dinner and another night in the heart of the migration.

Ngorongoro Crater Safari & Fly Back to Zanzibar

After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most wildlife-rich safari destinations. Enjoy a game drive on the crater floor, home to elephants, lions, buffalo, hippos, and the rare black rhino.

After lunch, you will drive back to Arusha for your scheduled flight to Zanzibar, arriving in the evening for drop-off at your hotel.
