Day 1

Nairobi to Masai Mara

Your safari experience starts with an early morning pickup in Nairobi as you make your way toward the legendary Masai Mara National Reserve. The drive winds through the dramatic scenery of the Great Rift Valley, with an opportunity to stop at a lookout point to admire the sweeping views and take a few photos.

You’ll reach your lodge or camp in time for lunch, followed by a moment to unwind and get comfortable in your new surroundings.

Later in the afternoon, head out for your first game drive a perfect introduction to the Masai Mara’s incredible wildlife. With the guidance of a skilled safari driver guide, you’ll roam across the expansive savannah in search of the Big Five lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhino, along with giraffes, zebras, and a wide variety of antelope species.
