With an armed ranger, you’ll explore the forest, lakes, and open plains on foot, coming close to giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, colobus monkeys, and countless birds. Each district of the park has its own charm, from the flamingo-filled Momella Lakes to the dramatic landscapes around Mount Meru and Ngurdoto Crater.

The next day, hike to the Ngare Sero Waterfalls, discover volcanic craters, and enjoy views of Oldoinyo Lengai, the active volcano that shapes this spectacular region.'

Leaving early at around 5 am, we’ll drive to a more remote area of Lake Eyasi to meet the Hadzabe, one of the last hunter-gatherer tribes in the world. They also speak a fascinating click language. They will welcome you into their daily routines; you can even join them on a real hunt! After lunch, enjoy a walk along Lake Eyasi, known for its birdlife, and you can occasionally spot hippos or flamingos.
