Your safari starts with a pick-up at 7:30 am from your Nairobi hotel or airport, from where you will drive to Amboseli National Park.
You arrive in Amboseli shortly after noon, check into your lodge, enjoy a hot lunch, and rest before the afternoon game drive. At 4:00 pm, depart for the afternoon game drive.
The highlight here is that Amboseli National Park has the greatest concentration of elephants in the world! The park is home to over 1,600 elephants from 56 different families. Each of the elephants has a name and a photo attached to its name.
After the game drive, we will return to Amboseli Sopa Lodge, freshen up and enjoy a freshly prepared dinner before your overnight stay.

Day 2

Have breakfast, then prepare to go for the full-day game drive.
You will have a picnic lunch in the afternoon within the national park with great views around you.
Amboseli is famous for its large elephant herds, which are often seen against the backdrop of the snow-capped mountain. The park's diverse ecosystems, including wetlands, savannah, and acacia woodlands, provide excellent opportunities for wildlife photography and game viewing, making it a must-visit destination for safari enthusiasts.

Day 3
Amboseli to Lake Naivasha

Have breakfast and then head for Naivasha. You will stop at the Rift Valley viewpoint for a scenic photo session, then head to Lake Naivasha. You will be dropped off at the hotel, check in, and then head for lunch.
After lunch, you will head out for a boat ride on Lake Naivasha, followed by a walking safari in the animal sanctuary, as the heat of the day subsides. Here, you get a one-on-one encounter with animals like giraffes and zebras, and you can almost touch them.
Later, you will head to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4

Have breakfast at Lake Naivasha, then head out to Hell's Gate National Park. You will spend the night at Ziwa Bush Lodge.
Hell's Gate National Park, located in Kenya's Rift Valley near Lake Naivasha, is renowned for its dramatic landscapes, including towering cliffs, geothermal springs, and the striking Hell's Gate Gorge. Unlike most national parks, it offers a more interactive experience, allowing visitors to explore on foot, by bicycle, or by rock climbing. The park is home to diverse wildlife, such as zebras, giraffes, and various bird species, though it lacks large predators. Its unique scenery has inspired popular culture, notably serving as a setting for Disney's "The Lion King".

Day 5

Have breakfast, then head out for a morning game drive at Lake Nakuru until midday.
This is heaven for bird photographers, with a wide variety of birds. There are tree-climbing lions, rhinos, Rothschild's giraffes, and, of course, what makes it the pink lake, the flamingoes.
Later in the day, after having lunch and an incredible game drive, you will drive off to the Masai Mara National Reserve. Join an evening nature walk with rich views of flora and fauna, accompanied by your guide. You can also visit the Maasai Village to experience their culture and traditions.
Have dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.

Today's itinerary is flexible; you can discuss it with your guide and plan the day’s schedule.
You can have a relaxed breakfast, then depart for full-day game drives around the park at 6:30 am, with your picnic lunch. This will give you a chance to visit the Mara River, where the migration occurs. Additionally, you'll have better opportunities to see wildlife throughout the day and return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
A Masai Mara safari is an unmissable highlight of any holiday in Kenya. There are breathtaking panoramas in every direction, a vast range of wildlife, including the Big Five and a rich cultural heritage to explore. Kenya’s Masai Mara is, without doubt, one of the greatest safari destinations in Africa.
