Arrive Entebbe - Lake Bunyonyi (Approx 8hrs)

Arrive in Entebbe where you’ll be met by your guide and after a pre-safari briefing begin your scenic drive to southwestern Uganda. The journey goes passing through rolling countryside, traditional villages, and lush plantations.
Along the way you will stop for lunch and later proceed on your journey as you enjoy the dramatic landscapes of the Kigezi Highlands.
Upon arrival at Lake Bunyonyi, check in at your lodge, perched along the lake’s shoreline.
After a hot cup of coffee/tea enjoy an optional boat cruise across the lake, visit some of its islands, or simply relax and take in the natural beauty.
Spend the evening unwinding by the water and preparing for the next day’s gorilla trekking adventure.
Dinner and overnight at Birds Nest Bunyonyi or Similar.

Bwindi Gorilla Trekking and Return to Lake Bunyonyi

After an early breakfast, transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to nearly half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas. After a safety briefing and orientation at the park headquarters, head into the forest with expert trackers to locate a habituated gorilla family. The trek may take between 2 to 6 hours depending on the gorilla movement, and once located, you’ll spend an unforgettable hour with them—observing, photographing, and experiencing their behavior up close. Return to Lake Bunyonyi in the afternoon, where you’ll relax at your lodge, enjoy a hearty dinner, and reflect on the day’s incredible encounter.

Arrive in Entebbe by late afternoon or early evening, in time for your international departure.
