Upon arrival in Arusha, your driver-guide will welcome you and escort you to your lodge for the first night. This day is intended to help you relax after your journey, settle into Tanzania, and prepare for the thrilling safari ahead. Enjoy the peaceful surroundings of the lodge, unwind in comfort, and get a good night’s rest before your adventure begins early the next morning.

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, a stunning wildlife haven known for its massive elephant herds, towering baobab trees, and diverse landscapes. Spend the day on a rewarding game drive, searching for elephants, lions, zebras, giraffes, and beautiful birdlife. In the late afternoon, continue to your lodge in Karatu, where you can relax, enjoy dinner, and reflect on the day’s sightings.

Ngorongoro Crater Tour & Return to Arusha

After breakfast, descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the most wildlife-rich areas in Africa. Enjoy a half-day game drive in search of lions, elephants, hippos, buffaloes, zebras, and the rare black rhino. After exploring the crater floor, drive back to Arusha where your guide will drop you at your hotel or the airport, marking the end of your safari adventure.
