Pick-up from your Nairobi hotel or airport in the morning, then drive 4½ hours through the scenic Athi Plains to Amboseli National Park. Arrive at Kilimanjaro Cottages for lunch, then head out for an afternoon game drive.

Explore Amboseli’s iconic landscapes framed by Mount Kilimanjaro and spot wildlife including elephants, zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, buffaloes, and, if lucky, a leopard. The park is also home to baboons, bat-eared foxes, and a variety of birdlife. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Start early for a sunrise game drive to witness wildlife activity and capture clear views of Mount Kilimanjaro before clouds obscure the peak. Continue with a morning game drive across the savannah to observe elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, wildebeest, zebras, and baboons.
