Kasane to Nata Area

Start the day with an early morning game drive in Chobe National Park, one of Africa’s premier wildlife destinations. As the bush comes alive, search for elephants, lions, buffalo, giraffes, antelope, and a variety of bird species while enjoying the beautiful morning light. After the safari, return to the lodge for a hearty breakfast before checking out.
Later, depart by road for the Nata region or Elephant Sands, depending on availability. The journey takes you through Botswana’s scenic landscapes and rural communities, offering a glimpse into local life. Upon arrival, check in and relax, enjoying the unique atmosphere of your lodge and the chance to observe wildlife that often visits the area, particularly around the waterholes.

Nata to makgadikgadi pan

After breakfast, depart Nata area and journey towards the vast Makgadikgadi Pans, a spectacular landscape of salt flats, open grasslands and dramatic horizons. Continue into the area to visit a habituated meerkat colony, where you can observe these fascinating little desert survivors as they emerge from their burrows, forage and interact with one another.
After the meerkat experience, explore the surrounding wilderness on a sunset drive. As the afternoon cools, look out for wildlife moving across the open plains while enjoying the changing colours of the Makgadikgadi landscape. The wide-open setting provides wonderful opportunities for photography as the sun sinks towards the horizon.
End the day with a memorable bush dinner under the African night sky. Enjoy a freshly prepared meal around the campfire, surrounded by the peaceful sounds of the wilderness. It is a wonderful way to experience the remote beauty and atmosphere of the Makgadikgadi Pans.

Okavango

After an early breakfast, depart Maun for an unforgettable full-day adventure into the Okavango Delta. Travel into the Delta and board a traditional mokoro, a dugout canoe that allows you to glide quietly through the shallow channels surrounded by reeds, papyrus and beautiful waterways.
Enjoy the peaceful journey as your local poler navigates the winding channels, with opportunities to spot birdlife and wildlife along the water. The quiet nature of the mokoro makes it an ideal way to experience the Delta at close range.
Continue with a guided bush walk on one of the Delta’s islands. Accompanied by an experienced local guide, explore the wilderness on foot while learning about animal tracks, plants and the smaller details of the ecosystem. Depending on conditions, you may encounter elephants, giraffes, zebras, antelope and numerous bird species.
After a picnic lunch in the wilderness, return by mokoro and road to Maun, arriving in the afternoon for some well-earned relaxation.
