Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

Your safari begins with an early pickup from either your hotel or the airport, followed by a drive through Uganda’s countryside toward Murchison Falls National Park. Along the way, you will make a stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a guided rhino tracking experience, where professional rangers lead you on foot to view the southern white rhinos and explain the conservation efforts taking place at the sanctuary. After observing the rhinos and exploring the reserve, enjoy lunch before continuing your journey to the park. You will arrive in the late afternoon, check in at Paraa Safari Lodge, and have the rest of the evening to relax, enjoy the river views, or unwind by the lodge facilities before dinner.

Murchison Falls National Park

After breakfast, you will set out for a morning game drive on the northern side of the park, where you may encounter elephants, lions, giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes, and other wildlife roaming the savannah. Once the game drive concludes, return to the lodge for lunch and a short rest before heading to the river for an afternoon boat cruise along the Nile. During the cruise, you will see hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of birds as you travel toward the base of Murchison Falls. Upon reaching the bottom of the falls, you will disembark and begin a guided hike to the top, where the Nile forces itself through a narrow gorge and creates one of the most dramatic waterfalls in East Africa. After enjoying the breathtaking views, your guide will drive you back to Paraa Safari Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Final Activity & Drive Back to Kampala or Entebbe

Following breakfast, you will choose between a relaxed guided nature walk perfect for spotting smaller animals and learning about the ecosystem one final game drive to search for any wildlife you may not have seen earlier. After completing the activity, return to the lodge to prepare for check-out, then begin the journey back to Kampala or Entebbe. Enjoy scenic views along the way, with a late afternoon arrival where your guide will drop you at your preferred location, marking the end of your safari adventure.
