Arusha to Arusha National Park

This morning, you drive to Arusha National Park for a beautifully varied day combining a traditional game drive with a guided walking tour. After exploring the scenic Momella Lakes and the Ngurdoto Crater area known for their giraffes, buffalo, monkeys, and abundant birdlife you will meet an armed ranger who will lead you on a guided nature walk inside the park. The walk takes you through lush forest paths toward the base of Mount Meru, eventually reaching a refreshing waterfall fed by mountain streams. Along the way, your ranger will point out unique plants, animal tracks, and bird species, offering a closer, more intimate experience of the ecosystem. After the walk, enjoy a relaxed lunch before continuing brief game viewing.

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, you depart for a full-day safari in Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most scenic wildlife regions. Known for its ancient baobab trees and immense elephant herds, Tarangire offers excellent opportunities for game viewing throughout the year. As you traverse its open plains and river valleys, expect to encounter lions, buffalo, zebras, giraffes, wildebeest, and numerous bird species that thrive along the Tarangire River. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed in the heart of the park, allowing you to remain immersed in the wilderness. Later in the afternoon, you return to Arusha, and dropped off at either your hotel in the city or at Arusha Airport for your onward flight.
