Dar es Salaam - Mikumi National Park by SGR

Your safari begins with an early pickup from your hotel in Dar es Salaam for a picturesque drive toward Mikumi National Park. Along the way, enjoy views of rural villages, sisal plantations, and the Uluguru Mountains. Upon arrival, check in your Hotel and enjoy lunch. In the afternoon, take a short introductory game drive where you may spot elephants, antelopes, giraffes, and zebras grazing across the Mkata plains. Return to the lodge for dinner and relaxation under the African night sky.

Full-Day Game Drive in Mikumi

Spend the entire day exploring Mikumi’s rich wildlife habitats. After an early breakfast, venture into the heart of the park, where lions often lounge near the road, elephants gather near waterholes, and herds of wildebeests, buffaloes, and zebras roam freely. The open floodplain provides excellent visibility for photography and animal sightings. Enjoy lunch at a picnic site inside the park before continuing your exploration in the afternoon. Return to your lodge for a warm dinner and a peaceful evening surrounded by nature.
