Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Your safari begins with a morning pickup from Arusha airport or accommodation and a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park. Entering the park, you’ll see expansive savannahs dotted with iconic baobab trees and large elephant herds moving toward the Tarangire River, a vital water source for wildlife.

Enjoy a full-day game drive exploring areas where lions and leopards roam, and giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and buffalo gather. Bird enthusiasts will also enjoy the park’s rich variety of species. A packed lunch is provided inside the park to maximize wildlife viewing.

In the late afternoon, check in at a comfortable lodge surrounded by greenery. After settling in, enjoy dinner and a relaxing evening in the cool highland air.

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

After breakfast, you drive toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, ascending through forested highlands to reach the crater rim. The first glimpse into the vast caldera is unforgettable. You then descend 600 meters onto the crater floor, entering one of the most wildlife-dense areas in Africa.

During your game drive, you may encounter lions resting in the grass, massive buffalo herds, large bull elephants, playful zebras, grazing wildebeests, and the rare black rhino. The crater’s varied habitats open plains, freshwater marshes, acacia groves, and the hippo pool offer diverse and rewarding game viewing in a compact area.

After a picnic lunch at a scenic spot inside the crater, you continue your exploration before ascending back to the rim. You then begin your return journey to Arusha, passing through villages and farmland along the way. Upon arrival in the late afternoon, you are dropped off at your hotel or preferred location, marking the end of your safari.
