Following an early breakfast, you'll embark on a comprehensive game drive across different sections of the park. Upon returning to camp for lunch, you'll prepare for your journey back to Ngorongoro. Your overnight stay will be at Simba Campsite, situated atop the crater rim. You'll prepare for an early descent the next morning to maximize your exploration opportunities.

After an early breakfast, you’ll begin your descent into the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater in search of the elusive black rhinos, one of the most remarkable and rare animals in Africa. While spotting these magnificent creatures can be challenging, the crater’s unique ecosystem, with its open plains, scattered acacia trees, and abundant water sources, increases your chances of sightings. Along the way, you’ll encounter a rich variety of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, and wildebeest, all thriving within this natural sanctuary. A scenic picnic lunch in the heart of the crater provides a chance to relax and soak in the stunning surroundings, while keeping an eye out for birdlife such as flamingos along the crater lakes. After lunch, continue your thrilling game drive, exploring hidden corners and spotting more wildlife. By late afternoon, you’ll ascend from the crater and return to the lodge.
