Half Game drive in the Southern Serengeti then to Karatu

After early Breakfast you will go for half day game drive in the Southern Serengeti as 't is one of the best places to witness the full cycle of the Great Migration. By late January through early March, roughly 500,000 wildebeest calves are born within a short 2–3 week window. This synchronized birthing strategy overwhelms predators and increases the survival chances of the newborns. The plains come alive with the calls of mothers and calves, and visitors witness calves taking their first shaky steps—often running within minutes of being born. It’s an emotional and awe-inspiring spectacle rarely seen elsewhere in the natural world.
In the afternoon, you will depart for Karatu, where you will spend the night at a lodge near Ngorongoro. This allows you to descend into the Crater the following morning, when the animals are still most active.
