Samburu to Ol Pejeta

• Begin the day with an early morning game drive inside Samburu National Reserve at 6.45 after breakfast.
• Guests enjoy another chance to spot the Samburu Special Five, elephants and predators active at dawn.
• After the game drive, depart Samburu at around 9.00am and head south towards Nanyuki.
• The route passes through Isiolo town, then continues with changing landscapes from semi-arid plains to fertile highlands.
• Guests may catch glimpses of Mount Kenya’s snow-capped peak as they approach Nanyuki.
• A stop at the Equator marker near Nanyuki offers a memorable photo opportunity.
• Arrive at Ol Pejeta in time for check-in and lunch at the lodge/camp.

Ol Pejeta to Lake Nakuru

After breakfast at Ol Pejeta, depart on a scenic drive toward Lake Nakuru, pausing at the Equator for a photo and demonstration of the Coriolis effect. Continue through rolling highlands and arrive at Lake Nakuru in time for lunch at your lodge.
In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive across the park’s diverse habitats; woodlands, grasslands, and the shimmering lake. The park is a home to rhinos, giraffes, buffalo, lions, leopards, and flocks of flamingos.
Return for dinner and overnight stay.
The following morning, take an early breakfast before setting out on a morning game drive, the best time to spot predators and watch the park awaken.
Exit the park by 9:30 AM, concluding your Lake Nakuru adventure and continuing onward to the legendary Masai Mara.
