Day 1

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

You will be picked up from your hotel or from Kilimanjaro International Airport and transferred to Tarangire National Park. Upon arrival, you will begin your first game drive, exploring the park’s beautiful landscapes dotted with ancient baobab trees and home to large herds of elephants, giraffes, zebras, and various antelope species. The Tarangire River attracts abundant wildlife, especially during the dry season, offering excellent viewing opportunities. You will enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park before continuing with an afternoon game drive. Later in the evening, you will proceed to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay, preparing for the next day of your safari adventure.

After an early breakfast, you will depart for the Central Serengeti (Seronera area) in Serengeti National Park, passing through the scenic highlands of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with optional stops for breathtaking views. Upon arrival, you will enjoy a game drive in the wildlife-rich Seronera region, known for its year-round abundance of animals and high chances of spotting big cats such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs. This area is also part of the Great Migration route, where large herds of wildebeest and zebras can often be seen depending on the season. After a picnic lunch, continue with an afternoon game drive before heading to your lodge or camp for dinner and an overnight stay in Central Serengeti.

Day 3

Central to Northern Serengeti

After an early breakfast, you will depart from Central Serengeti (Seronera) and drive towards the northern part of Serengeti National Park, a region famous for hosting the dramatic river crossings of the Great Migration. Enjoy a full-day game drive in the route as you follow the movement of wildebeest and zebras heading toward the Mara River. With some luck, you may witness the breathtaking river crossing, where herds face strong currents and lurking crocodiles, one of the most thrilling wildlife spectacles in the world. Along the way, you will also have opportunities to spot predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards. A picnic lunch will be served during the game drive before continuing your exploration. In the evening, you will arrive at your camp in the Northern Serengeti for dinner and an overnight stay near the migration route.

In the afternoon, embark on another game drive in Central Serengeti, exploring its scenic plains and riverine areas while spotting lions, leopards, elephants, giraffes, and more. Return to your camp in Central Serengeti for dinner and an overnight stay.

Upon arrival, descend into the crater for a full game drive on the lush crater floor, home to an incredible diversity of wildlife. Here, you have excellent chances of seeing the Big Five lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhino alongside zebras, wildebeest, hippos, flamingos, and a variety of bird species in a stunning volcanic landscape. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the crater while taking in the breathtaking scenery. In the afternoon, begin the scenic drive back to Arusha, passing traditional Maasai villages and rolling highlands, arriving in the late afternoon and transferring to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
