Morning: Arrival at Kigali International Airport, our representative will warmly welcome you and lead you to the VIP lounge, assist with all the immigration procedures, sort your luggage, and later introduce you to your driver guide. You will proceed on a scenic drive to South Western Rwanda with a stopover at the King's Palace in Nyanza.
Later, proceed to Nyungwe and arrive at Nyungwe Top View Hill Hotel, assisted with check-in, followed by lunch. The rest of the day is at leisure, preparing for the chimpanzee trekking the next day.

You will get up early to be transferred to the park headquarters at 5:00 am with a delicious packed breakfast. After an insightful chimpanzee trek briefing, you’ll be escorted to the Evergreen Forest, and the adventure begins.
During the trek, you are likely to spot several bird species, monkeys, and reptiles. Upon encountering the chimps, you will spend 1 hour with them as you watch them play, feed, and observe their movements. You'll have lunch at the hotel.

Day 3

6:30 am: Breakfast at the hotel, check out, and settle any extras before transferring to the park headquarters for a Zipline and Canopy experience, which starts at 08:00 am. Both experiences take about 2 hours to finish. Later, you'll embark on a scenic drive to Volcanoes National Park.
You will have lunch en route at a recommended restaurant before proceeding to Musanze, arrive in the evening, check in, freshen up, and relax.

Day 4
Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park
Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park
You'll have an early breakfast at the lodge, then transfer to the park headquarters in time for the gorilla trek briefing, which starts at 07:00 am. After the briefing and allocation of gorilla families and park guides, drive to the start point of your guided walk that begins at 08:00 am. Here, your amazing adventure begins.
A gorilla family is led by a silverback, and the troops also include several younger males, adult and juvenile females, and infants. In addition to protecting group members, silverbacks maintain order and decide all activities within their troop. They schedule feeding trips, resting time, and travel. They also father the majority of the young in the group.
After this memorable experience, you will return, freshen up, and have lunch. In the afternoon, just relax at the lodge. You'll have dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5
Optional Golden Monkey Trek/Departure
Optional Golden Monkey Trek/Departure
On this day, you will check out and settle extras. If you decide to do the golden monkey trek, you will be transferred to the park headquarters for a briefing at 7:00 am. Later, you'll transfer to the start point for the trek.
The golden monkey trek experience is not as strenuous as the gorilla trek, and usually guests return between 10h00 and 11h00. En route, you will visit the Gorilla Guardians Village for a cultural experience before returning to the lodge, freshen up, check out, and transfer to Kigali for departure.
