Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you will begin your game drive along the Sogore River Circuit, a route that winds through the plains south of the Seronera River and offers chances to spot lions, Thomson’s gazelles, topis, ostriches, and cheetahs. After your morning exploration, you may also visit the Serengeti Visitor Centre near the Serengeti Seronera Lodge.

In the afternoon, you will continue along the kopjes circuit, which circles the Maasai kopjes in a counterclockwise direction. These ancient granite outcrops act as small ecosystems, often holding shade and water pools after rainfall. They attract plenty of wildlife in the dry season, with lions frequently waiting near the water sources for prey. The kopjes are also home to notably large cobras.
