Diani to Ngutuni Wildlife Sanctuary

Your safari begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel and a smooth drive to Ngutuni Wildlife Sanctuary, a private reserve bordering Tsavo East. As you approach, the landscape shifts into classic savannah dotted with acacia trees and framed by the Ngutuni Hills. Upon arrival, you check in at Ngutuni Lodge, set beside a busy waterhole that attracts wildlife throughout the day. After settling in, you head out for your first game drive, where you may encounter elephants, lions, giraffes, antelopes, zebras, and a variety of birdlife. After the drive, return to the lodge for lunch and a short rest while watching animals gather at the waterhole.

In the late afternoon, as temperatures cool, you set out for another extended game drive, exploring deeper into the sanctuary. Soft golden light enhances photography as wildlife becomes more active. After the drive, return to the lodge for dinner and a peaceful night overlooking the sanctuary.

Ngutuni to Diani

The second day begins with an early morning wake-up call, followed by tea or coffee as the sun rises over the sanctuary. You then depart for a sunrise game drive, one of the best moments to experience wildlife as many species are active before the heat sets in. With luck, you may spot animals you missed the previous day and enjoy the natural beauty of Ngutuni as the landscape glows under the morning light. After the drive, you return to the lodge for breakfast and some time to relax, take photos, or watch animals gathering at the waterhole.

Later in the morning, you check out and begin your final game drive as you exit the sanctuary, giving you one more chance to spot wildlife along the way. After leaving Ngutuni, you start your journey back to your hotel or onward destination, arriving in the afternoon with wonderful memories of your two-day safari adventure.
