Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International airport, you will be met by your friendly driver-guide and after briefing, depart by road for the Maasai Mara National Reserve, one of the most celebrated wildlife destinations in Africa, you will have enroute breakfast at a local café at own cost. The journey covers approximately 280 kilometers and takes around five to six hours, passing through the Great Rift Valley with scenic stops en route for panoramic views and cultural insight. Arrive in the Mara in time for a hot lunch at your lodge or camp. In the late afternoon, embark on your first game drive in this iconic reserve. The Maasai Mara’s vast plains are home to elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, giraffes, and countless wildebeest and zebra. diverse throughout the year. As you traverse the plains, look out for elephant herds moving gracefully through the
bush, prides of lions resting in the shade, and perhaps even a cheetah stalking its prey. The flora ranges from open

After breakfast, depart the Maasai Mara by road and make your way to the Isebania border, the crossing point into Tanzania. The total journey from the Mara to central Serengeti is approximately 260 to 280 kilometres and may take seven to nine hours including immigration formalities and game viewing and lunch en route. Once across the border, your Tanzanian guide will meet you and drive you into the Serengeti National Park, a vast ecosystem that mirrors the Mara but stretches much further in size and diversity. Arrive at your lodge or tented camp in the late afternoon. The Serengeti’s endless plains, dotted with granite kopjes and baobab trees, are home to huge herds of wildebeest and zebra, along with lions, leopards, and
over five hundred species of birds. Enjoy dinner and overnight stay deep within this pristine wilderness.

En route, you may stop at Olduvai Gorge, one of the most important paleoanthropological sites in the world. Arrive at your lodge located on the crater rim in time for lunch. In the afternoon, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a World Heritage Site often referred to as Africa’s Garden of Eden. This ancient volcanic caldera is home to over 25,000 animals, including black rhinos, lions, elephants, and flamingoes. The crater’s diverse habitats—ranging from forest to lakes to grasslands—make it one of the most wildlife-rich locations on Earth. After a rewarding game drive, ascend back to the rim for dinner and a peaceful overnight stay with breath-taking views of the crater below.

The journey from Ngorongoro to Amboseli is approximately 320 kilometers and may take seven hours, depending on road and border conditions. The drive is scenic, offering views of rural Tanzanian and Kenyan landscapes, acacia woodlands, and volcanic terrain. Arrive in Amboseli, located at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, in the late afternoon. After check-in, lunch and a short rest, you may enjoy a brief evening game drive if time allows. Amboseli is renowned for its large elephant herds, often seen walking against the dramatic backdrop of Africa’s highest peak. Other wildlife includes lions, cheetahs, buffaloes, zebras, and a wide range of wetland birds. Dinner and overnight stay in your lodge overlooking the park or with views of Mount Kilimanjaro.

After a relaxed breakfast, begin your drive back to Nairobi, covering approximately 230 kilometres, which takes about four to five hours. Depending on your departure time, you may have a chance to stop for lunch or some souvenir shopping along the way. Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in the afternoon or early evening for your onward journey back home or to your next destination, carrying unforgettable memories of East Africa’s wildlife, landscapes, and warm hospitality.
