Arusha to Ndutu Area

Your adventure begins with an early departure from Arusha as your driver–guide will pick you up from Arusha airport or accommodation and provide a safari briefing. You will then journey toward the stunning Ndutu area, located between the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

This region is famous for its open plains, rich wildlife, and seasonal sightings of the Great Migration. Upon arrival, you will enjoy a game drive through the Ndutu woodlands and grasslands, where you may encounter cheetahs, lions, giraffes, elephants, and countless grazing animals.

In the late afternoon, you will head to your accommodation, a comfortable and beautifully located tented camp offering warm hospitality and an authentic bush experience. After settling in, enjoy a freshly prepared dinner and a peaceful night in the heart of nature.

Full Day Game Drive in Ndutu Area

After breakfast, you will spend the full day exploring the Ndutu plains, a wildlife-rich region known for excellent predator sightings. Depending on the season, this area becomes the heart of the Great Migration, attracting vast herds of wildebeest and zebra and offering prime opportunities to see hunting predators such as cheetahs, lions, and hyenas. Your guide will take you through a variety of habitats from open plains to marshlands ensuring a full and rewarding wildlife experience.

As the sun begins to set, you will return to accommodation for dinner, relaxation, and another night surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

After an early breakfast at camp, you will depart for the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most unique and wildlife-rich destinations. Upon arrival, you will descend into the crater floor, entering an enclosed ecosystem often described as a natural wildlife sanctuary.

Throughout the day, you will enjoy game viewing across the crater’s diverse habitats, with opportunities to spot lions, buffaloes, zebras, hippos, wildebeest, and with some luck the endangered black rhino. A picnic lunch will be served at a picturesque spot near the hippo pool, offering time to relax and take in the crater’s breathtaking scenery.

In the afternoon, you will ascend the crater walls and begin your comfortable drive back to Arusha, arriving in the early evening where you will be dropped off at the Arusha airport or accommodation of your preference. This marks the end of your memorable 3-day safari, filled with remarkable wildlife encounters and unforgettable landscapes.
