Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, clear with immigration and proceed to the arrivals where you will meet your driver guide who will brief you about the 15 days Best of Uganda wildlife and Gorilla Safari before transferring you to your hotel for overnight.

After breakfast, a drive to the beautiful Murchison Falls National Park having a stopover at the Ziwa Rhinos Sanctuary where you will have a walking safari in search of the White Rhinos. Murchison Falls National Park formerly known as Kabalega National Park derives its name from the Murchison Falls which is a 7 meter canyon where the might River Nile forces itself from a narrow gorge pouring down with a thunderous roar. Lunch, dinner and overnight stay at the Lodge.

Enjoy a morning game drive through the Savanna where you will see herds of Elephants, Buffalos, Giraffes, Kobs, Oribi, Jackson’s Hartebeest and various bird species that include the forest and water birds and the Albertine Rift endemics thereafter return to the lodge for breakfast. In the afternoon after lunch, you will have a boat ride to the bottom of the falls whence the park derives its name. You will see groups of Hippos, Crocodiles, ad a variety of animals that come to drink water at the river banks and a variety of bird species too. You will then hike from the bottom to the top of the falls.

Drive to Fort Portal Town. Fort Portal was founded as a garrison for British soldiers by Gerald Portal from whom the town derives its name. And is the only town with an English name in Uganda. Here you will see many tea plantations producing high quality tea for local and export market and views of the mighty misty Mountains of the Moon; the Rwenzori mountains.

Nature Walks At Semliki National Park
Nature Walks At Semliki National Park
After breakfast we drive towards Semliki National Park. The scenic, winding road will lead us through green mountains and offers you a magnificent view at the River Semliki and Congo. After arriving in the protected area, a ranger will accompany us on a beautiful nature walk through the Ituri Rainforest. Enjoy the peacefulness of the forest, look out for the rich birdlife at the swamp and boil an egg in the hot springs that have become an interesting natural attraction. It will be completed with a picnic lunch provided by the guide, while you explore the real Africa. Later in the afternoon we return to Kibale Forest. Dinner and overnight at the cottages of Primate Lodge Kibale.

On this day, you will have a morning Chimpanzee trekking experience in the company of an experienced ranger guide, you will search for Kibale Forest’s resident Chimpanzees and also have a chance to see other primates such as Grey-cheeked Mangabeys, Red Colobus, Red-tailed and Blue monkeys. In the afternoon you will enjoy a walk through the papyrus swamps of the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary.

After relaxed breakfast at the lodge, you will be assisted with checking out and after settling the bill for extras if any start your drive to the famous Queen Elizabeth National Park. Queen Elizabeth National Park is Uganda’s second most visited Park and the most popular savannah reserve. This Park has the highest variety of habitats and wildlife in Uganda. Dinner and overnight stay at the Lodge.

After an early breakfast, you will proceed for a game drive; through the Kasenyi and North Kazinga plains where you will see herds of Elephants, Buffalos, Antelopes, etc…
In the afternoon you will have a boat ride along the Kazinga Channel en-route you will see groups of Hippos and Buffalos a few metres away. You will see some animals coming to drink water at the banks and a various bird species.

After breakfast you may choose for the optional activity of exploring Kyambura Wildlife Reserve (not included). Driving through a grassland area, all of a sudden we come across an amazing gorge of one hundred meters deep, covered with tropical rainforest. You will hike into the gorge of the Kyambura River in search of the wild chimpanzees. It is a beautiful walk through the river valley, home to many birds and butterfly species.
Later we will leave Queen Elizabeth National Park and head towards Bwindi. The scenic route runs through a verdant countryside while you pass traditional homesteads and farms. In Bwindi dinner and overnight at Gorilla Safari Lodge.

After an early breakfast; you will proceed to the park headquarters for briefing and thereafter go to the start points and enjoy the highlight of the safari. Trekking the Gorillas is a once in a lifetime experience which takes between 2–6 hours. Lunch and dinner at the lodge.

After breakfast you can choose to have a guided village walk for a closer meeting with the local community. Learn about their way of living as you walk through coffee, tea and banana plantations. Afterwards we depart to Lake Bunyonyi, the deepest lake in Uganda. This area is often called “Little Switzerland of Uganda” and boosts one of the most beautiful parts of the country. Relax or go for a canoe trip while you watch the beautiful sunset. Dinner and overnight at Arcadia Lodge Bunyonyi.

After breakfast we drive to Lake Mburo National Park which takes us about four hours with lunch en route. As we enter the park and head towards the accommodation it is likely that you will see some wildlife, like impalas, topis, warthogs, zebras and buffaloes. After checking in you will go on a boat ride on the lake and enjoy the rich birdlife and the hippos that are cooling off. Dinner and overnight at Rwakobo Safari Lodge.

Nature Walks And Transfer To Kampala
Early start of the day as we will go for a nature walk guided by a ranger. Lake Mburo is the only national park where you can experience a safari on foot. After breakfast we transfer to Kampala with a stop at the equator for photos or shopping. Arrival late in the afternoon in Kampala. Overnight at Orchidea Protea Hotel Kampala.
