Day 1

Your safari begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel in Mombasa, followed by a scenic drive along the Mombasa–Nairobi Highway toward Tsavo East National Park. Upon entering the park through Bachuma Gate, you immediately begin your first game drive across the vast, open plains known for red elephants, lions, zebras, giraffes, and a rich variety of birdlife. You arrive at your lodge in time for lunch and a short rest before heading out for an afternoon game drive, exploring the park’s beautiful landscapes and the wildlife that gathers near the seasonal rivers. You return to the lodge at sunset for dinner and overnight.

Day 2

After an early breakfast, you embark on a final morning game drive as you exit Tsavo East, keeping an eye out for elephants, cheetahs, and other wildlife active in the cooler hours. You then proceed toward Amboseli, arriving in time for lunch at your lodge with sweeping views of Mount Kilimanjaro. In the afternoon, you head out for a game drive across Amboseli’s open plains, famous for large elephant herds and stunning photographic opportunities. As the sun sets behind Kilimanjaro, you may spot lions, hyenas, and grazing antelopes before returning to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

You start your morning with a game drive in Amboseli, taking advantage of the clear early-morning views of Kilimanjaro and the busy wildlife around the marshlands. After breakfast, you depart for Tsavo West, driving through contrasting landscapes of rugged hills and volcanic formations. After check-in and lunch at your lodge, you continue with an afternoon game drive that includes a visit to the Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary, where there is a chance—though not guaranteed—to spot the elusive black rhino. The park’s dramatic scenery, from Shetani Lava Flow to rolling hills, creates a captivating backdrop before returning to your lodge for dinner.

You arrive at your coastal hotel in the afternoon, marking the end of your memorable 4-day Tsavo East, Amboseli, and Tsavo West adventure.
