By afternoon, you will arrive at Ashnil Aruba Lodge for check‑in and a delicious lunch, then take time to relax by the pool or terrace overlooking the river. At dawn, you will set out for a game drive around Aruba Dam to catch early predator activity and birdlife. After breakfast at the lodge, the morning continues with a guided nature walk led by a ranger, offering insights into the park’s flora and smaller wildlife. You will then visit Mudanda Rock for panoramic views and photo opportunities, followed by a stop at the Tsavo Rhino Sanctuary to learn about conservation efforts. Around midday, you depart Tsavo East and enjoy a scenic drive toward Tsavo West, arriving in the afternoon. The contrasting landscapes of Tsavo West — rolling hills, lava flows, and lush springs — offer a new safari experience. After check‑in at Severin Safari Camp, you will embark on an evening game drive to explore the park’s dramatic terrain and spot wildlife against the backdrop of the Ngulia Hills. Your final day begins with a sunrise game drive in Tsavo West, where the cool morning air often brings predators and grazers into the open. After breakfast, you will visit the famous Mzima Springs, a lush oasis fed by underground streams from Mount Kilimanjaro. Here, hippos wallow in crystal‑clear pools, crocodiles bask on the banks, and fish dart beneath the surface, all visible through underwater viewing chambers. The springs’ greenery and volcanic backdrop provide a striking contrast to the arid plains of Tsavo East.
As you depart Tsavo West, you will have a stop at the Shetani Lava Flow; a dramatic view of ancient black volcanic rock stretching across the landscape.
