Mombasa-Tsavo East

Your safari begins with an early morning pick-up from your Mombasa hotel, followed by a scenic drive toward Tsavo East National Park. Entering through Bachuma Gate, you start your first game drive across the park’s vast plains, home to red elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, and diverse birdlife. You arrive at your lodge in time for lunch and a short rest before heading out on an afternoon game drive, exploring more of Tsavo East’s wildlife-rich areas. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Start the day with a visit to Mzima Springs, a natural oasis with crystal-clear waters, hippos, and crocodiles, including an underwater viewing chamber. After breakfast, drive toward Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary, arriving at Salt Lick Lodge for lunch. The lodge offers elevated views over waterholes where wildlife gathers. In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive within the sanctuary, spotting elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, and predators in a serene, private setting. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
