Upon landing at Kilimanjaro International Airport, your Big Time Adventures guide greets you with a warm welcome and assists with luggage before transferring your Lodge. Enjoy views of farms, hills, and village life as your guide introduces you to the region’s culture and the majesty of Mount Meru.

Once in Moshi, check in, relax and unwind after your journey. In the evening, meet your guide for a detailed safari briefing covering your itinerary and essential tips. Enjoy dinner and settle in for the night, ready to begin your Northern Tanzania heritage adventure.

Serval Wildlife Experience

After breakfast, depart for Serval Wildlife Sanctuary. Enjoy a guided visit where you will encounter giraffes, zebras, and elands while learning about wildlife conservation and the sanctuary’s protection efforts. This experience offers unique up-close wildlife interactions, with an optional picnic lunch set in a natural setting.
In the afternoon, continue to Olpopongi Maasai Cultural Village, where you will enjoy a traditional dinner and overnight stay, preparing for an in-depth cultural immersion the following day.

Into the Wild - Arusha to Trangire Adventure

After breakfast, set off from Arusha toward Tarangire National Park, a land of towering baobabs and vast plains. Your game drives reveal massive elephant herds, graceful giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and the ever-watchful lions and leopards. Birdlife fills the skies, adding vibrant color to the savannah. Pause for a picnic amid the wild before continuing your adventure. In the late afternoon, transfer to Karatu for a relaxing evening at your lodge, preparing for tomorrow’s journey into the Ngorongoro Crater.

Full Game Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha Town

Early breakfast, then depart for the Ngorongoro Crater floor for an unforgettable 6-hour game drive inside the crater. This natural wonder offers excellent opportunities to spot the Big Five, including lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, and if fortunate the rare black rhinoceros.

Enjoy a picnic lunch at Ngoitoktok Spring, a scenic spot where you may also observe other large mammals such as hippopotamuses, warthogs, baboons, and a wide variety of birdlife. After approximately six hours, ascend the crater rim and continue toward Arusha, enjoying an en-route game drive via Mto wa Mbu village. In the evening, arrive at your hotel in Arusha town.

At the end of the tour, you will be transferred to the airport for your onward journey.
