Welcome to Uganda. You will be received by a Likyadi Adventures guide upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport and you will transfer to the hotel for relaxing. Depending on your time of arrival, you will have lunch before transferring to the hotel. You will then check in at the hotel and relax preparing for the safari adventure that awaits you in Uganda and Rwanda. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2

After your early morning breakfast, you will be picked by a Likyadi Adventures guide and start your 4 to 5 hours journey to Murchison Falls National Park in Masindi in Western Uganda. You will have a first stop over at Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary in Nakansongola where you will have an hour on-foot rhino trekking experience. After the rhino tracking experience
you will have lunch before proceeding to visit the top of Murchison Falls the powerful falls where the Nile squeezes through an 8m wide gorge and plunges with a thunderous roar into the Devil’s Cauldron creating a trademark rainbow. From the falls you will continue in the park to check in the lodge.

Have your breakfast very early in the morning, depart for an early morning game drive as early as 6am and head into the park and look out for view the different mammals such as elephants, lions, leopards, Rothschild’s giraffes, buffaloes and antelopes like Uganda kob, topi, eland, bushbucks. You will have time to relax for lunch and after join the boat cruise to take you to the bottom of Murchison falls as you spot aquatic wildlife such as hippos, Nile crocodiles, and water birds. On return, Catch up with sunset view before dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 4

After your morning breakfast, you will check out of the hotel and start your journey to Kibale National Park in Kabarole district in Western Uganda through the tea plantations and rolling hills to reach Fort portal town. While in Fort portal you will have an en-route lunch and continue your journey to Kibale National Park. After checking into the lodge, you will embark on a guided nature walk in the Bigodi wetlands and you have a chance to spot 138 bird species. You will visit the communities around Kibale National Park where you will learn how coffee is processed locally for consumption by the local coffee farmers. You will visit Rest in Bananas where you will see how the Banana man makes different products from bananas. After this experience, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

After your early morning breakfast, you head over to Kibale Forest Headquarters at Kanyanchu where you will be briefed on the dos and don’ts of chimpanzee trekking. With a ranger guide, you will venture into the jungle in search of the chimpanzees and while tracking, you will be able to spot other primate species like the Red Colobus, Black and white Colobus, Vervet monkeys, Red-tailed Monkey, and L’Hoest’s Monkey among others and bird species. You will spend one hour with the chimpanzees as you watch them play, feed and groom each other in the forest. After the chimpanzee tracking experience you will be awarded a chimpanzee trekking certificate and after you return to the lodge for lunch. After lunch you will exit the lodge in Kibale National Park and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park later in the afternoon. You will arrive at the lodge where you will check in. In the evening, you will head out for an evening game drive in the park. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Have your breakfast very early in the morning and depart for an early morning game drive as early as 6am in the Kasenyi plains in Queen Elizabeth National Park. While in the park you will look out for wildlife such as Lions, Leopards, Elephants, Buffaloes, Waterbucks, Uganda kobs, and many others. After the game drive you will return to the lodge and some rest, relax as you wait for lunch. After lunch you will for a 2 hour afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga channel where you will have a chance to spot Elephants, Buffaloes, Hippos, Crocodiles, and many bird species. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

After your early morning breakfast, you will checkout of the lodge in Queen Elizabeth National Park and you will transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You will arrive at the lodge in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in the afternoon where you will have lunch and there after you will check in.
In the evening, you will then embark on a Batwa community experience where you will visit the Batwa people and learn their different ways of living such as how they used to make fire, how they hunted for their food among others. After this experience you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

After the early morning breakfast, you will proceed to the UWA visitor’s reception where briefing is done before trekking at 7:30am about the dos and don’ts while with the gorillas. Remember to carry your packed lunch and enough drinking water since you may stay in the forest up to afternoon in search of these gentle giants in their natural environment. Gorilla
trekking exercise is physically demanding but an exciting activity! You may need to hire a porter to assist you during trekking and these are readily available at the park headquarters. Time allowed to spend with gorillas is 1 hour when you have found them and this is enough to ask all the questions about their behaviour.
After Gorilla Trekking, you will transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for relaxation. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

After the morning breakfast, you will embark on a canoeing experience on Lake Bunyonyi, a beautiful lake that is about 900 metres deep and is made up of 29 islands where you will explore the different islands on the lakes especially the famous punishment island, After the canoeing experience, you will check out of the lodge and transfer to Kigali in Rwanda. You will arrive later in the afternoon where you will check in to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

After your early morning breakfast, you will then embark on a Kigali City Tour. During this city tour you will the visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial where you will learn about the stories of the 1994 Genocide. You will also visit the local handicrafts market and you will learn about their ways of life. Afterwards, you will have lunch and then transfer to Kigali International Airport for your flight back home. Do not forget to purchase a souvenir for yourself as a remembrance for this wonderful trip.
