Day 1

After an early breakfast, you will meet and greet our customer service representative at your hotel in Arusha Town and begin your journey to Tarangire National Park with picnic lunch in hand. Tarangire is renowned for its impressive elephant population and offers an authentic blend of wildlife, nature and the traditional Maasai way of life. During the dry season, the park becomes a sanctuary for large herds of elephants, often seen roaming among ancient baobab trees and feeding on acacia bark. Enjoy remarkable game viewing opportunities as you explore diverse landscapes, with stunning views across the Maasai Steppe and the distant southern mountains. Later in the afternoon, you will continue to Karatu for dinner and overnight at Crater Rim View Inn.

After an early breakfast, depart with your picnic lunch for the world-renowned Serengeti National Park, driving through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with game viewing en route. Along the way, you may encounter four of the Big Five — lions, elephants, buffaloes, and leopards — as well as an array of wildlife including hippos, zebras, wildebeest, cheetahs, hyenas, and Thomson’s gazelles, among others. The Seronera region, the heart of Serengeti, is a true wildlife paradise, often alive with thousands of animals. Depending on the season, you may also witness the spectacular movement of the wildebeest migration. Enjoy an exciting afternoon game drive before heading to Tukaone Weavers Camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3

After an early breakfast, depart with your picnic lunch for another exciting game drive in Serengeti National Park. Continue exploring the endless plains with the opportunity to spot the iconic Big Four—lions, elephants, buffaloes and leopards—as well as hippos, zebras, wildebeest and a wide variety of other wildlife. In the afternoon, proceed towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, stopping at the historic Olduvai Gorge, a significant archaeological site believed to be one of the earliest homes of humankind, where Dr. Leakey discovered the skull of Homo sapiens. Enjoy scenic game viewing en route as you drive to your lodge located on the crater rim. Later, visit a traditional Maasai Boma for a cultural encounter to learn about their way of life, traditional dances and customs. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Wild Camp.

After breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, often referred to as the world’s seventh natural wonder. This vast caldera was formed through the dramatic geological movements that created the Great Rift Valley. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is home to a rich diversity of wildlife, including the Big Five—lions, elephants, rhinos, buffaloes, and leopards—as well as hippos, zebras, wildebeests, cheetahs, hyenas, and Thomson’s gazelles. The crater also hosts over 400 bird species amidst its stunning landscapes of grasslands, forested slopes, and seasonal waterholes. Enjoy a full game drive inside the crater until late afternoon, before ascending to the crater rim and driving back to Arusha. Arrival is in the evening with a drop-off at your hotel of choice. This marks the unforgettable conclusion of your safari adventure with us.
