You will be warmly welcomed at your hotel by your private guide. After a short briefing, step into your private Land Cruiser and set off to begin your safari adventure.
Your journey starts with a guided city tour of Kigali. You can chose to visit key landmarks such as the Genocide Memorial, local craft markets, and notable cultural sites that give you a clear introduction to Rwanda’s history and everyday life.
After the city tour, continue by road to Volcanoes National Park through Rwanda’s beautiful highland landscapes.

Day 2

Today’s adventure offers a choice between two unforgettable experiences: You can choose to track the vibrant and energetic Golden Monkeys, known for their striking orange-gold coats and playful nature. Found only in a few places in the world, these rare primates leap through the lush greenery of the Virunga Mountains in large, lively troops — making for an incredible sight and a dream for photographers and wildlife lovers alike.
Alternatively, you may opt for a hike to the Dian Fossey Tomb, a powerful and moving journey through the forest to the resting place of the legendary primatologist. Along the way, you'll learn about her tireless work to protect mountain gorillas and the legacy she left behind in these misty mountains.
After the trek, cross into Uganda and travel onward to the beautiful Lake Bunyonyi, often called the “Switzerland of Africa,” famous for its calm waters, lush hills, and serene atmosphere.

This morning, set out on a private boat excursion to explore some of the lake’s 29 story-filled islands, each with its own legends and history. Lake Bunyonyi is one of the deepest lakes in Africa and, uniquely, it is completely free of crocodiles and hippos, making it one of the safest and most tranquil lakes in the region.
After the boat tour, continue your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The drive takes you through winding mountain roads, dense forests, and remote highland villages, offering a beautiful transition into gorilla country. Upon arrival and check-in, pamper yourself with a relaxing massage at your lodge, the perfect way to unwind and prepare for tomorrow’s unforgettable wildlife encounter.

Today you’ll trek in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that is home to nearly half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas. After a short briefing, set off with your guide into the forest to track one of the habituated gorilla families. Once located, you’ll spend one unforgettable hour observing them up close — playing, moving through the trees, and interacting with each other in their natural environment.
This is the highlight of any trip to East Africa and an experience that leaves a lasting impression.
Later in the afternoon, visit Pangolin Conservation Centre, where you’ll learn how rescued pangolins are rehabilitated and prepared for release back into the wild. The team at the center will explain the challenges these endangered animals face and the important conservation work being done to protect them. It’s a rare opportunity to see a species that is extremely difficult to encounter in the wild and to understand why their protection is so vital.

Start your morning with a scenic drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, one of Uganda’s premier wildlife destinations. The park is home to an incredible variety of animals, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, and elusive leopards often seen lounging in the shade.
In the afternoon, set off on a boat safari along the Kazinga Channel, home to one of the world’s largest hippo populations. You’ll glide past massive pods of hippos, crocodiles basking on the banks, and large herds of elephants and buffaloes coming to drink. Few places in Africa offer such consistent and close-up encounters with wildlife.
And in the evening continue with the game drive to spot even more of park’s incrediable wildlife.

This morning, head for chimpanzee trekking experience at Kalinzu Forest. With the guidance of expert trackers, you’ll follow signs through the forest until you find one of the habituated chimp families. Once located, you’ll spend one hour observing their interactions—grooming, feeding, or moving through the canopy. It’s an up-close and authentic encounter with one of our closest animal relatives.
In the late afternoon, head out for another evening game drive to continue your wildlife exploration, with excellent chances of spotting tree-climbing lions, elephants, buffaloes, and other predators becoming active.

As your journey through Rwanda and Uganda comes to an end, you leave with a lifetime of memories filled with rare wildlife encounters and once-in-a-lifetime moments.
