You will begin your adventure with a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park, a haven famous for its massive elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. Enjoy a full day game drive as you explore the park’s rich landscapes, from open grasslands to the Tarangire River where wildlife gathers in impressive numbers. Expect to spot elephants, giraffes, lions, zebras, wildebeest and occasional dry land species like oryx and gerenuk. After breakfast you will continue your game drive through Central Serengeti before heading toward the Ndutu region, the heart of the calving season. As you drive south, you will witness dramatic changes in landscape and increasing concentrations of wildlife. Ndutu is where thousands of wildebeest gather to give birth, attracting predators such as lions, cheetahs and hyenas. Upon arrival you will enjoy an afternoon game drive before heading to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay close to the action.

This is where newborn wildebeest take their first steps and predators actively search for opportunities, making the game viewing intense and unforgettable. Your guide will take you to the best areas for calving, predator interactions and photography. You will return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay surrounded by the sounds of the wild.

Day 5

Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, you will depart Ndutu and drive to the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater. Descend into the crater for a game drive inside one of Africa’s most remarkable wildlife sanctuaries. Here you may spot the Big Five, including rare black rhinos, lions, buffaloes, and large numbers of elephants and hippos. Enjoy your picnic lunch at the hippo pool before continuing your afternoon exploration. Afterward, you will ascend the crater walls and begin your return journey to Arusha, marking the end of your safari.
