Your safari adventure begins early in the morning with a scenic flight from the tropical island of Zanzibar to the legendary Northern Serengeti National Park. As you leave behind the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean, the landscape below gradually transforms into the vast golden plains of northern Tanzania—an exciting preview of the wilderness that awaits you.

Upon landing at a remote Serengeti airstrip, you will be warmly welcomed by your professional safari guide. From the very first moments, the safari experience begins, as wildlife is often spotted right near the airstrip. You will then embark on a game drive en route to your camp at Moyo Tented Camp, allowing you to immediately immerse yourself in the raw beauty of the Serengeti.

Day 2

Northern Serengeti to Central Serengeti National Park

Northern Serengeti to Central Serengeti National Park

After an early breakfast in the remote wilderness of Northern Serengeti, you'll begin your journey southwards toward the heart of the park — Central Serengeti (Seronera area). This day is a perfect blend of scenic transfer and rewarding game drives, offering an authentic Serengeti safari experience.
As you drive through the vast open plains, the landscape gradually changes from rolling savannah and scattered acacia trees to wildlife-rich grasslands and river systems.
The Serengeti is renowned for its predators, and today offers excellent chances to spot lions resting under acacia trees, cheetahs scanning the plains, and leopards lounging in the branches of sausage trees. As night falls, the sounds of roaring lions and calling hyenas remind you that you are deep in the African wilderness. Your overnight stay will be at Kontiki Serengeti Camp.

Day 3

Central Serengeti to Country Lodge - Karatu

Central Serengeti to Country Lodge - Karatu

After an early breakfast in the heart of the Central Serengeti, you'll begin your final game drive across this wildlife-rich region, making the most of the cool morning hours when animals are most active. As the sun rises over the endless plains, you may encounter large prides of lions returning from a night hunt, cheetahs scanning the savannah for prey, and herds of elephants moving gracefully through the grasslands. The Central Serengeti, also known as the Seronera area, is famous for its year-round concentration of wildlife, supported by the Seronera River and its surrounding valleys.

After a rewarding morning of game viewing, you gradually depart the Serengeti, driving southeast toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The landscape slowly changes from vast open plains to rolling highlands dotted with kopjes, acacia woodland, and traditional Maasai bomas. Your overnight stay will be at Country Lodge Karatu.

Day 4

Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, you are heading to Ngorongoro Crater in search of the black rhinos, which are the hardest animals to see. Experience Africa's best place with one of the highest densities of wild animals. Home to a diverse array of animals like big cats, rhinos, hyenas, elephants, and more. After stopping for lunch at Hippo Lake in the afternoon, you will drive up to the crater rim for another game drive. At last, you'll head back to Maasai Eco Boma Lodge.

Maasai Village to Arusha

Maasai Village to Arusha

After breakfast, you will be driven from Escarpment Luxury Lodge to Maasai Village, known as Oltukai Village. There, our Maasai guide will accompany you as you experience daily life as a Maasai person, giving you the chance to participate and learn more about the Maasai community. In the afternoon, you have the option of having a traditional lunch with the Maasai people or a private hot lunch from the hotel. Following that, you will be transferred to Arusha Airport, which is two hours away, ready for your early evening flight back to Zanzibar.
