Nairobi – Samburu National Reserve

This morning at approximately 0730hrs, you will be met and warmly welcomed by our representative, who will brief you about your upcoming safari. After the briefing, you will depart Nairobi and drive north toward Samburu National Reserve, arriving in time for lunch.
Upon arrival, check in to your camp, enjoy lunch, and take some time to relax. Later in the afternoon, proceed for your first game drive in the reserve, which is renowned for its semi-nomadic Samburu tribesmen and the rare wildlife species found only in this region—the reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, beisa oryx, gerenuk, and the blue-necked Somali ostrich.
Return to the camp for dinner and overnight at Samburu Intrepids.

Begin the day with an early morning game drive, followed by breakfast at the camp. Enjoy some leisure time before heading out again for an afternoon game drive.
Samburu offers incredible wildlife viewing against the scenic backdrop of the great Ololokwe Mountain. The reserve is particularly famed for the rare Reticulated Giraffe, the long-necked Gerenuk, the straight-horned Beisa Oryx, and many other species unique to northern Kenya.
After a rewarding day in the wilderness, return to the camp for dinner and overnight at Samburu Intrepids.
