Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro or Arusha Airport you will be met by your driver guide and transferred to your mid range hotel in Arusha. You will have time to relax after your journey, enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the lodge and prepare for your safari. Dinner will be served at the hotel and you will spend the night in Arusha.

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast you will drive to Tarangire National Park, well known for its large elephant herds and beautiful baobab trees. Enjoy a full day game drive with chances to spot zebras, lions, buffaloes, giraffes and many bird species. Lunch will be served inside the park at a picnic site. In the late afternoon you will head to your mid range lodge near Tarangire for dinner and your overnight stay.

Tarangire to Serengeti National Park

Today you will head toward Serengeti National Park, passing through the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands. On arrival in Serengeti, enjoy your first game drive as you head toward Central Serengeti, a region rich in wildlife throughout the year. Expect to see lions, elephants, cheetahs and large herds of grazers. Later you will proceed to your mid range tented camp for dinner and an overnight stay inside the park.

Serengeti National Park

Spend a full day exploring the endless Serengeti plains. Start the morning with a game drive when wildlife activity is at its peak, offering chances to see predators and large herbivore herds. After lunch, continue with an afternoon game drive where giraffes, hippos, elephants and zebras roam freely. In the evening you will return to your mid range lodge or camp for dinner and relaxation under the African sky.

Ngorongoro Conservation Area

After breakfast you will drive out of Serengeti toward Ngorongoro. Descend into the world famous crater for a game drive in one of Africa’s most unique wildlife habitats. Here you may spot the Big Five, including the black rhino. Enjoy lunch at the hippo pool picnic area before continuing your exploration. Later you will ascend the crater and drive to your mid range lodge on the crater rim or Karatu area for dinner and your overnight stay.

Lake Manyara and Departure

After breakfast you will drive to Lake Manyara National Park, known for its diverse birdlife, tree climbing lions and beautiful lake views. Enjoy a final game drive through the forest, open plains and hot springs area. After lunch you will drive back to Arusha where your safari ends with drop off at your hotel or the airport for your onward flight.
