Pick up from Kigali and transfer to Kibale National Park

You will be picked up from your hotel or from Kigali International Airport (KGL) and embark on a journey to Kibale National Park, having lunch en route. Kibale is home to the largest number of chimpanzees in East Africa. Upon arrival, you'll check in at the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge.

Chimp Trekking in Kibale National Park and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After an early breakfast, you will drive to the visitor center for a briefing before the chimpanzee tracking.
The trek is typically shorter and less strenuous than the gorilla trek, taking a few hours in the forests. You get an hour with the chimpanzees once found, which you'll use to witness chimpanzee behavior, take pictures, or record videos.
After the activity, you'll have lunch, and then your guide will drive you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for dinner and overnight.

Gorilla tracking in Bwindi and transfer to Kigali

Have an early breakfast and transfer to the park headquarters with your packed lunch for a briefing by the guides.
Embark on the gorilla trekking adventure, which can take 2 to 7 hours depending on the gorillas' movement.
You will spend one hour observing the gorilla family once located. After the tracking, you will head back to the starting point, and your driver guide will drive you to Kigali for drop-off at your hotel or Kigali International Airport for your departure flight.
