Day 1

Nairobi - Lake Naivasha

Our professional tour guide will pick you up at the agreed destination, and you will be briefed on your safari expectations before departure for Lake Naivasha. You will arrive in time for lunch at the lodge. Should you be interested, you can enjoy a boat ride on the beautiful Lake Naivasha, which is a freshwater lake. It is a haven to more than 200 species of birds, including the fish eagles, ospreys, lily-trotters, black crakes and a variety of herons. The waters of the lake draw in a great range of game to its shores, from giraffes wandering among the acacia to buffalo wallowing in the swamps to colobus monkeys calling from the treetops. The lake's largest hippopotamus population sleeps the day out in the shallows of the lake.

Day 2

Leave Lake Naivasha after breakfast for the nearby Lake Nakuru National Park. Arrive on time for a short game drive en route to your camp. Have lunch, then leave the camp at 4:00 pm for your afternoon game drive.

Lake Nakuru National Park is a shallow alkaline lake where visitors can enjoy the wide ecological diversity of habitats ranging from the lake itself to the surrounding escarpment and picturesque ridges. The main activity is game viewing. Foragers, grazers, hunters, and scavengers all play roles in the natural ecosystem of this sanctuary. The park is ideal for bird watching, hiking, picnics and game drives. The lake is famed as one of the world's largest ornithological spectacles. Lake Nakuru is also home to zebras and gazelles, Rothschild's giraffe, impala, black and white rhinos’ sanctuary and other large mammals.

Day 3

Lake Nakuru - Masai Mara

Lake Nakuru - Masai Mara

Have an early breakfast followed by checkout. Leave the park and head to the Masai Mara National Reserve, arriving at your camp on time for lunch. Relax after lunch, enjoying the camp facilities, and later leave for the afternoon game drive at 4:00 pm. The Masai Mara is one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Africa and one of the Ten Wonders of the World. It is home to all members of the Big Five: lion, elephant, leopard, rhino, and Cape buffalo. Amongst the wildlife that you will also get to see are the black-maned lion, stately giraffes, and vast herds of elephants, rhinos, thundering herds of zebra, migrating wildebeest and numerous other plains game.

On the second day of your safari, you get the chance to fully explore the wild - a full day in the wild! Get to spend the day in the world’s most famous reserve that offers an abundance of herbivores. The Mara is an ideal hunting ground for big cats and lion prides. Rise early for a morning game drive or have breakfast, then head out for the morning game drive.
