3-Day Coastal Tour-Mombasa to Tsavo East and Tsavo West

Mombasa-Tsavo East National Park

Our safari driver-guide will collect you from your beach hotel at 7:30 am (or earlier if you prefer). You'll proceed to the Tsavo East National Park, a drive of approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes. You'll enter the park through Bachuma Gate and commence your game-viewing drive in search of lions, elephants, giraffes, buffalos, etc. After lunch, you will have an afternoon game-viewing drive until late in the evening. The rest of the evening is spent at your booked accommodation, Voi Wildlife Lodge, on a full-board basis.

Tsavo East National Park- Tsavo West National Park

You'll have an early morning game drive then depart for Tsavo West National Park, arriving in time for lunch.
Tsavo West covers an area of approximately 11000sq km. The park is well known for its large number and size of elephants. There are several sights and activities to behold in this park, from the sight of fifty million gallons of crystal-clear water gushing out from the under-parched lava rock that is the Mzima Springs, to the Shetani lava flows, Tsavo West is a beautiful, rugged wilderness. The savannah ecosystem comprises of open grasslands, scrublands, and Acacia woodlands, belts of riverine vegetation, and rocky ridges including the Poacher's Lookout where visitors can see the teeming herds in the plains below.

The attractions include elephants, rhinos, hippos, lions, cheetahs, leopards, buffalos, and diverse plant and bird species including the threatened corncrake and near-threatened Basra Reed Warbler. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the lodge.

Tsavo West National Park and driving back to Mombasasa

You will go on a pre-breakfast game drive, then return to the lodge for breakfast. Later on, you will depart with lunch at a stopover hotel, arriving in Mombasa in the afternoon. You’ll be dropped off at the hotel or airport.

This marks the end of this safari with us. If time is not a limiting factor, the trip can be extended to fit your preference.
