Tsavo West to Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary

Start with an early morning game drive and then go back to the hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, you will depart for Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary. This sanctuary straddles the Southern Tsavo West National Park and is an important dispersal area and migrating corridor for wildlife between Tsavo East National Park and Tsavo West National Park, making it a highly valued tourism recreational area and of ecological importance. Enjoy your stay at Salt Lick, which has an imaginative structure. A complex of rondavels sits on stilts over a series of waterholes. These two-story towers, topped by peaked thatch roofs connected by open-air bridges, create an African fantasy of a medieval fortress. The lodge has been built with game viewing in mind. The structure provides a panoramic view of the sanctuary, offering spectacular views of the landscape and wildlife.

After an early morning game drive at Taita Hills and enjoying a sumptuous breakfast; you will proceed to the Tsavo East National Park. Begin your game-viewing drive right after entering the gate in search of lions, elephants, giraffes, buffalo, and other wildlife. You will also enjoy the scenic Aruba dam and Lugard’s Fall.
