Transfer from Arusha to Serengeti

The road transfer from Arusha to Serengeti National Park offers scenic landscapes and cultural encounters. Departing Arusha, guests enjoy views of Mount Meru, farmland, and rural villages. The journey continues through Maasai areas, where traditional herding activities can be observed.

The drive enters the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, featuring cooler highlands, forests, and volcanic scenery. An optional stop at the Ngorongoro Crater viewpoint provides panoramic views. Wildlife such as baboons, zebras, wildebeest, and antelopes may be seen along the route, followed by a picnic lunch at a designated site.

The journey proceeds to Naabi Hill Gate, the entrance to Serengeti National Park. Upon entry, the landscape opens into the vast Serengeti plains, with the first game-viewing opportunities en route to the lodge or camp. Guests may spot giraffes, zebras, gazelles, and occasionally lions or cheetahs.

After an early breakfast, depart for a morning game drive. Explore
different areas of the Serengeti, such as Central Serengeti (Seronera) and the Western Corridor. Morning is the best time to see predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards.
Afternoon:
Enjoy a packed lunch in the park or return to your lodge for a leisurely meal.
Continue your afternoon game drive. The Serengeti is home to the
annual Great Migration (if visiting between June and October), so you may be able to witness this incredible spectacle of millions of wildebeests and zebras.

Evening:
Return to your lodge or camp for dinner. Overnight stays in Serengeti.

Full Day Game Drive & Hot Air Balloon Safari

Hot Air Balloon Safari:
Early morning pickup from the lodge/camp (around 05:00 hrs) and transfer to the balloon launch site. The balloon safari begins at sunrise (~06:00 hrs) and lasts about 1 hour, offering aerial views of the Serengeti plains, rivers, and wildlife such as wildebeest, zebras, giraffes, elephants, and predators when visible. Upon landing, guests enjoy a champagne bush breakfast in the wilderness.
Full Day Game Drive:
After breakfast, proceed with a full-day game drive in Serengeti National Park. Explore different areas of the park in search of wildlife including lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and a wide variety of birdlife. Picnic lunch will be served at a designated site inside the park. Game viewing continues throughout the day, with breaks for rest and photography.
Return:
Late afternoon drive back to the lodge.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater – Game Drive in Ngorongoro Crater – Overnight in Karatu

Morning:
After breakfast, depart for Ngorongoro Crater (approximately 4 hours by road).
Arrive at Ngorongoro Crater and descend into the crater for a half-day game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater is often referred to as the "Garden of Eden," home to an incredible concentration of wildlife, including elephants, lions, buffaloes, zebras, and black rhinos.
Afternoon:
Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the crater, with a stunning view of the surrounding landscape.
After lunch, continue your exploration of the Crater, possibly visiting the Lake Magadi area where you can spot flamingos, and continue your wildlife viewing.
Late Afternoon:
Ascend from the Crater and drive to Karatu (about 30 minutes from the Crater rim). Check-in at your accommodation for an overnight stay.
Evening:
Enjoy dinner at your lodge in Karatu and relax after an exciting day of game viewing.
