The safari begins with an early morning departure from Nairobi at 6.30 AM, pick up at the hotel then driving north through the fertile highlands and past the slopes of Mount Kenya. The journey is scenic, with coffee plantations, pineapple farms, and bustling towns along the way. A highlight is crossing the Equator near Nanyuki, where guests can pause for photos. Continuing through Isiolo, the landscape shifts to semi‑arid plains dotted with acacia trees, signaling entry into northern Kenya. Arrive at Samburu in the afternoon and enjoy your first game drive enroute to the lodge, spotting wildlife such as elephants, zebras, and antelopes.
Dinner and overnight at a lodge or tented camp along the Ewaso Nyiro River.

Day 2

Spend the entire day exploring Samburu’s diverse habitats. Morning and afternoon game drives reveal the reserve’s famed “Samburu Special Five”; Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, reticulated giraffe, Beisa oryx, and gerenuk. Guests also encounter lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, and crocodiles basking along the riverbanks. Between drives, relax at the lodge or enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush, surrounded by Samburu’s rugged hills and sweeping savannah.
The day concludes with a sundowner overlooking the plains, followed by dinner under the stars.

Day 3
Samburu to Nakuru

Departing Samburu, clients enjoy a scenic drive through northern Kenya’s rugged landscapes, with the first highlight being a stop at the Equator near Nanyuki; an iconic photo opportunity and cultural marker. Continuing south, the journey passes fertile highlands before pausing at the spectacular Thomson’s Falls in Nyahururu, where cascading waters plunge into a deep gorge, offering a refreshing break and memorable views.
By early afternoon, the drive descends into the Great Rift Valley, arriving at Lake Nakuru in time for a late lunch.
A short game drive in the late afternoon after which guests settle into their lodge for relaxation, soaking in the tranquil atmosphere of the park’s acacia woodlands and shimmering lake.
Tranquil evening is a perfect time to relax after a long adventurous journey from Samburu and preparing for the following morning's early game drive, exploring Nakuru’s diverse wildlife including rhinos, giraffes, and flocks of flamingos.

Day 4
Nakuru to Nairobi

The day starts with an early morning breakfast, clients check out of their lodge and begin their journey toward Nairobi with a game drive through Lake Nakuru National Park as the sun rises over the shimmering lake.
This enroute safari offers a perfect chance to spot rhinos, Rothschild's giraffes, buffalo, and the park’s famed birdlife as they traverse the acacia woodlands and lakeshore. Besides, it is the time predators such as; lions and leopards are more actively roaming the woodland savannah.
By mid-morning, they exit the park and continue south, driving through the scenic Rift Valley escarpments with sweeping views of volcanic hills and fertile farmlands. The road passes bustling towns and highland landscapes, offering glimpses of everyday Kenyan life.
Clients can enjoy an optional boat ride at Lake Naivasha enroute to Nairobi at $30 each.
Arrival in Nairobi is expected in the afternoon, with drop-off at their point of preference marking the conclusion of their safari adventure.
