You will travel to Lake Natron after breakfast. The asphalted road ends just past Mto wa Mbu, and the journey continues on treacherous hills across the East African Rift Valley. The route passes Maasai settlements and the Ol Doinyo Lengai, the Maasai people's sacred mountain. The Maasai village of Ngare Sero is close to the lake as soon as you see it. A surprising variety of birds may be seen in the outlet Lake Natron, including around 2.5 million miniature flamingos, which use the lake as a regular breeding area. The lake's planar reddish-brown to purple-violet hue is caused by unicellular algae and bacteria that thrive in the highly salinized water. One of Africa's most exquisite and pristine areas is the region surrounding Lake Natron. After exploring the lake, you'll go to the neighboring waterfalls, which are a veritable haven with fantastic swimming waters. African Safari Camp Lake Natron is where you will spend the night.

The Serengeti National Park is one of the biggest natural wild animal migration systems, along with the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and the Maasai Mara National Reserve in Kenya. Over 1.4 million gnus, nearly 300,000 Thomson's gazelles, roughly 200,000 zebras, and several thousand topis migrate annually between the three aforementioned conservation areas to the regions with the more verdant and lush meadows during the rainy seasons. The Serengeti is the national park with the richest fauna in the world, home to over 3 million bigger mammals. While traveling to your lodging for dinner and an overnight stay at Sero Tented Camp.

Please be aware that seeing a crossing can be extremely challenging and occasionally depends on luck. It takes a few days for a herd that is visible beside the river to decide to cross.
