After breakfast, drive from Arusha to Momella Gate in Arusha National Park and complete registration. Begin your trek accompanied by an armed ranger, winding through lush forest trails rich with wildlife. Enjoy a picnic lunch along the way before arriving at Miriakamba Hut for dinner and overnight rest.

Day 2

Miriakamba Hut – Saddle Hut (3500 m)

Ascend through montane forest and heath zones, stopping at Mgongo wa Tembo viewpoint for panoramic crater views. Arrive at Saddle Hut for a hot lunch and some rest. In the afternoon, embark on a short acclimatization hike to Little Meru (3,820 m) to enjoy spectacular sunset views over the mountain.

Day 3

Reach the Summit – Socialist Peak (4566 m) – Descend to Miriakamba Hut

Begin your midnight summit attempt, navigating the steep trail past Rhino Point (3,800 m) and Cobra Point (4,350 m). Reach Socialist Peak in time for a breathtaking sunrise with views of Mount Kilimanjaro and the surrounding plains. Descend to Saddle Hut for brunch, then continue to Miriakamba Hut for an overnight rest.
