Day 1

Zanzibar to Central Serengeti National Park

You will arrive at Seronera Airstrip at approximately 11:00 a.m., where you will be warmly welcomed by your professional safari guide. A picnic lunch will be prepared as you begin your exciting Serengeti game drive.

Around 1:00 p.m., you will pause to enjoy your lunch in a scenic location within the park before continuing your afternoon safari. The game drive focuses on tracking the big cats of the Serengeti, along with a wide variety of other wildlife across the endless plains.

In the late afternoon, you will drive to Land of Nature Lodge & Camps or a similar accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay, concluding a memorable day in the Serengeti.

Wake up early for an unforgettable sunrise transfer game drive in the Serengeti, the best time to witness predators in action as the golden sun sets the savannah ablaze, then beginning your journey toward Ngorongoro conservation area.

The drive itself is a safari experience, offering excellent opportunities to spot wildlife along the way, including members of the Big Five, depending on sightings and luck.

Along the route, enjoy a cultural stop at a Maasai boma, where you will visit an authentic Maasai village. Experience traditional Maasai dances, learn about their way of life, and browse handmade souvenirs at the local market (purchases are paid directly to the Maasai community).

Day 3

After breakfast, you will depart with driver guide for the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, often called the Eighth Wonder of the World. From the panoramic viewpoint, enjoy your first breathtaking view of this vast, lush caldera before descending to the crater floor for an unforgettable game drive.

The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is home to over 120 species of mammals, including the legendary Big Five. It is one of the best places in Africa to spot the endangered black rhinoceros, as well as large groups of hippos relaxing in the crater’s pools.

From your open-top safari vehicle, you’ll have excellent opportunities to observe and photograph lions, leopards, cheetahs, jackals, hyenas, wildebeests, zebras, antelopes, and Cape buffalo.

Enjoy a picnic lunch at the famous Hippo Pool, surrounded by stunning scenery, before returning to Arusha Airport Fly to Zanzibar, concluding your unforgettable safari with Swahili Safari Escape.
